Perkins woman arraigned on robbery charge

STILLWATER, Okla. — A woman accused of robbing a Cushing business is being held on bail for $300,000.

According to court records, 41-year-old Carmen Eldonna Richardson of Perkins was arraigned at the Payne County Courthouse on Thursday.

Richardson has a criminal history and prior felony conviction.

Court records state Richardson went into a Cushing business in the 100 block of North Cleveland Avenue, held a knife and told the clerk to hand over cash.

Richardson pleaded guilty to robbing a Stillwater hotel and two loan businesses with a dangerous weapon in October 2012. A judge sentenced her to 15 years suspended sentence.

If convicted, Richardson could spend 10 years to life in prison.

She is due to appear in court at 1 p.m. Friday.
