STILLWATER, Okla. — The Stillwater Utilities Authority will meet following the City Council meeting Monday at the Stillwater Municipal Building.

The authority trustees will consider construction bids for installation of a 200-foot pipeline under Country Club Road north of its intersection of State Highway 51. The pipeline will connect with an existing 16-inch main.

Construction is scheduled to start in April with completion in June. The SUA received two bids — Urban Contractors, L.L.C., $341,000 and M.K. Excavation $511,092.

The engineer’s estimate was $395,000. SUA staff recommends awarding the contract to Urban Contractors, L.L.C.

The Payne County Commission is scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. Monday in the Payne County Courthouse, 315 W. Sixth Ave.

As of noon Saturday, an agenda had not been posted on the Payne County website.
