STILLWATER, Okla. — Stillwater and Glencoe firefighters responded to a grassfire in the 8300 block of Valley Ridge Drive, north of Stillwater. The fire was extinguished at 2:45 p.m. Monday.
Firefighters are trying to determine the cause.
The property owner came home for lunch to find a portion of his grassland in flames. He tried to put out the blaze, but called firefighters. Several acres were burned.
