Taste of Home Cooking School tickets on sale

STILLWATER, Okla. — The Taste of Home Cooking School is returning to Stillwater March 21 at the Oklahoma State University Wes Watkins Center.

The show is hosted by the Stillwater NewsPress and includes an interactive expo and cooking class with product demonstrations, sampling, recipes, cooking techniques, practical kitchen tips, simple plating ideas and door prizes. Local and national businesses will offer various free items , coupons and drawings for prizes including cook books, gadgets and baking equipment.  Every participant receives a gift bag with numerous items including the Taste of Home Cooking School magazine. The grand prize is a KitchenAid mixer.

More than 900 are expected with the interactive expo opening at 4:30 p.m. The cooking show starts at 6:30 p.m. with a fashion show during intermission. The event finishes at 9:30 p.m.

Advance tickets are on sale for $10 at the Stillwater NewsPress, 211 W Ninth St. VIP package tickets are $35. Tickets at the door are $12. The Stillwater NewsPress will donate a portion of the ticket sales to the Mission of Hope homeless shelter.
