Snowfall begins in Stillwater

STILLWATER, Okla. — Snow began falling in Stillwater shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday.

Total accumulation Sunday night could be 1 to 3 inches, according to the National Weather Service forecast, which predicted a low of 28 degrees.

Snow and sleet are likely before 9 a.m. Monday, followed by snow, freezing drizzle and sleet until noon and rain in the afternoon, according to the forecast. Monday's high is forecast to be 38 degrees.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the area until noon Monday.

At 8:45 p.m. Sunday, the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was reporting normal road conditions in the Stillwater area, although in western Oklahoma, DPS reported hazardous road conditions in many counties.
