Oklahoma State University officials monitoring snow; school still on for Monday

Highway Patrol reports roads are slick and hazardous

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State University officials announced Sunday night that the university would open as usual Monday morning, but they are monitoring the weather and road conditions.

Stillwater Public Schools had made no announcement either way Sunday night.

Snow continued to blanket the area, resulting in a number of calls to police about cars sliding off the roads.

About 11:30 p.m. Sunday, the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety listed Payne County roads, along with those in Lincoln, Logan and Noble counties, as hazardous.
