Pooches in the Pool scheduled at Stillwater Municipal Pool

STILLWATER, Okla. — The city of Stillwater Parks and Recreation will host its first Pooches in the Pool from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Municipal Pool, 800 E. 12th Ave.

Pooches in the Pool is a pool party for dogs, which is being held after the pool is closed for the season.

“This family friendly event for dogs is designed to let your dog cool off in the municipal pool, interact, and play with other dogs,” Recreation Supervisor Rachel Palmer said.

Admission is $3 per dog, two dogs per owner limit, owners get in free. Pool toys, oops bags and a special treat will be provided.

“We are ‘doggone’ excited to host this pool party,” Palmer said. “It’s the perfect event for the whole family to come out, enjoy the end of summer and bring along your family dog.”
