STILLWATER, Okla. — Heavy snow in northwestern Oklahoma is making travel difficult, and residents say more snow is expected.

A waitress at the Polly Anna Cafe in Woodward, Christy Walker, says roads in the area are packed with snow and she had trouble driving to work Thursday morning. Walker says her car became stuck at one point and had to be pulled out.

Walker says eight inches of snow fell overnight and the area is expecting another five inches Thursday. In spite of the heavy snow, she says business was good and she was very busy.

John Stovall, a cashier at the Flying J Travel Plaza in Sayre about 90 miles south of Woodward, says roads are clear and traffic was moving smoothly. Stovall says the area received only one inch of snow.
