Stillwater group claims $2 million Powerball prize

STILLWATER, Okla. — A group of six co-workers from Stillwater has claimed a $2 million Powerball prize.

The group turned in the winning ticket Thursday. The ticket matches all five white balls from the Wednesday night Powerball drawing to win $1 million. The six also added the Power Play option — which doubled the winnings.

Wednesday’s winning numbers are 16, 22, 23, 42, and 55. The Powerball is 32.

The six winners are Roxann Baldwin, Valerie Williams, Brenda Tidwell, Karin Biros and Clinton Hetrick, all from Stillwater, and Catherine Westmoreland of Cushing. They say they’ve been playing as a pool once a week for more than five years.

Each received approximately $236,000 after taxes.
