Warren Clinic transition scheduled this weekend

STILLWATER, Okla. — The final phase of a transition of the Warren Clinic to the Stillwater Medical Physicians Clinic will require it to close for the weekend, hospital spokeswoman Shyla Eggers said.

Computers and equipment will need to be switched and that requires some shutdown time. The Stillwater Medical Center team members will work all weekend to ensure the clinic re-opens Monday morning with little disruption in service, said Eggers, the hospital’s director of public relations.

To accommodate urgent care needs in the community, the Stillwater Medical Center will add additional staff at the Emergency Department Fast Track to accommodate for the short-term closing of the Warren Clinic Easy Access, she said.

The transition should be smooth, Eggers said.

“We will do our best to make the transition seamless for our patients,” Eggers said. “ We have had dozens of staff members from both locations working hard to make this happen. The phone number will be the same, the physicians will be the same and the medical records will remain intact at the location unless a patient makes a request to transfer them.”
