STILLWATER, Okla. — Stillwater Fire Marshal Trent Hawkins said firefighters brought a wildfire south and east of Stillwater under control at approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday. The fire burned approximately 200 acres and destroyed two abandoned mobile homes. No one was injured in Wednesday's wildfires.

Assessor's revaluation teams start inspections
The Payne County Assessor’s Office’s three revaluation teams will be conducting visual inspections through October in the west half of Stillwater and rural areas immediately south and west of Stillwater, Assessor James Cowan said.
