OKMULGEE, Okla. —
The Board of Regents for Oklahoma State University and A&M Colleges has approved Victoria Rowe Berry as the director of the OSU Museum of Art, which will open later this year at the former Postal Plaza in downtown Stillwater.
Berry is the former executive director and chief curator of the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art at Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where she implemented a new collections management program.
Berry, who has more than 20 years of service in education, was honored as the Arts Administrator of the Year in 2010 by the Utah Art Education Association and as the Museum Education/Administrator of the Year in 2002. She has organized numerous art exhibitions.
A recent graduate of the Museum Leadership Institute, sponsored by the Getty Foundation, Berry received her master of fine arts degree from Utah State University. She is a former member of the Utah Arts Council and is affiliated with the American Association of Museums, National Art Education Association and the Utah Art Education Association.
