SENTINAL, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist was killed after he was struck by a sport utility vehicle that turned in front of him.

The highway patrol says the collision happened Sunday morning at the intersection of State Highway 44 and State Highway 55 in Sentinel. A report says 20-year-old Dalton Fry of Sentinel was struck by an SUV that was turning left onto State Highway 55.

The highway patrol says Fry was taken to a hospital in Cordell where he was pronounced dead. Authorities say Fry was not wearing a helmet.

The driver and passenger of the SUV were not injured in the collision.
