City honors employees for service

The city honored 75 employees for reaching five-year increments in employment recently.

One employee, Luther Driskel, has served for 40 years. Other long-time employees are John Irons at 35 years; Kelly Williams and John Hamble at 30 years; and Jim Caldwell, Gary McCray, Ronald Jones, David Knott, John Mehan II, Steven Hoffman, Morris German, Kenneth Luehring and Vernon Hall at 25 years.

“We are grateful for the many years of service these staff members have provided the City of Stillwater,” City Manager Dan Galloway said. “Stillwater is a great city and a wonderful place to live because of their commitment of energy, enthusiasm and talent. Their work has an impact on the community, and residents can see the results.”

Teresa Goodner, parks and recreation administrative tech, 5.

Linda Hoipkemier, parks and recreation sanitation equipment operator, 5.

Ricky McGuar, parks and recreation equipment operator II, 5.

Charles Price, parks and recreation maintenance worker II, 5.

Adam Elliott, police officer, 5.

John Gillman, police parking control officer, 5.

Cynthia Kalb, police records clerk, 5.
