Cushing teenagers injured in all-terrain vehicle accident

STILLWATER, Okla. — Two teenagers were injured Monday after crashing an all-terrain vehicle near Cushing.

The driver, Ryan Hood, 13, of Cushing was taken by helicopter to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, arm and leg injures, an accident report shows.

Passenger Madison Boyle of Cushing, 13, of Cushing, was transported to Hillcrest Hospital in Cushing with head, trunk external and arm injures. She was treated and released, the report shows.

The two were riding on Eseco Road when the ATV rolled an unknown amount of times, ejecting Hood and Boyle.

Investigating troopers attributed the wreck to unsafe speed on a gravel road.
