Edmond man dies in fiery wreck with train near Morrison

MORRISON, Okla. — An Edmond man died in a fiery wreck when the semi-truck he was driving collided with a train near Morrison Wednesday afternoon.

According to a report by investigating troopers, a semi-truck driven by 60-year-old Richard A. Knight Jr. was making a wide right turn from a private drive and did not see an oncoming freight train. He was pronounced dead at the scene after his truck caught fire. Troopers attributed the cause of the wreck to  failure to yield at a train crossing.
