Oklahoma State to bus students to Texas memorial service

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State University will provide transportion for friends and Sigma Chi fraternity brothers to attend the funeral of David Brumfield, an OSU student who died Monday in an Oklahoma City Hospital.

The university will provide a bus to take the students to Plano, Texas, for the Sunday afternoon service, OSU Communications Director Gary Shutt said.

"Oklahoma State University is deeply saddened by the loss of one of our students.  We extend our thoughts and sympathies to the family and friends of David Brumfield," Shutt said.

The Sigma Chi member was found unresponsive by his roommate early Sunday morning in his apartment in the 200 block of Washing Street. and died. No cause of death has be released and Stillwater police are still investigating.
