Payne County election officials to certify general election results at 3 p.m. Friday

STILLWATER, Okla. — The Payne County Election Board will meet at 3 p.m. Friday in the Election Board office in the Payne County Administration Building, 315 W. Sixth Avenue, Suite 207, Stillwater.

The Election Board will canvass verified provisional ballots and certify the results of Tuesday's general election.

Payne County voters approved a 1/16 cent sales tax that will be distributed annually to all county fire departments and Sunday on-premises alcoholic beverage sales. They also elected Glenna Craig as Payne County clerk as well as casting ballots in national and state issues.
