STILLWATER, Okla. — Former Oklahoma State University pitcher Gabriel Weidenaar appeared in court Friday morning before District Judge Phillip Corley. The judge rescheduled arraignment to Sept. 28.
Weidenaar, 21, is charged with unlawful possession of controlled drug with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school, conspiracy to commit a felony and possession of controlled dangerous substance without tax stamp affixed, all felonies, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Weidenaar, an outfielder and relief pitcher, was arrested in April after officers intercepted four pounds of marijuana addressed to him. He has pleaded not guilty.
At an August appearance Weidenaar's attorney Royce Hobbs said he and the state were nearing an agreement.
