STILLWATER, Okla. —
Twenty people were laid off Thursday from Frontier Electronic Systems Corp. in Stillwater, according to a Stillwater Workforce Center representative.
At least three people came to the Workforce Center office Friday to file for unemployment, said the representative, who asked not to be identified.
The range of workers’ duties varied from a warehouse worker, engineer and electronic technician, the representative said. The representative was not certain how many workers remain at Frontier.
Calls to the company were not answered, and messages were not returned.
The Stillwater Workforce Center representative said recently unemployed workers can visit the office, 3006 E. Sixth Ave., to file for unemployment. They can also visit unemployment.ok.gov or call (800) 555-1554.
