BREAKING NEWS: Oklahoma State men earn a five seed in Midwest Region

STILLWATER, Okla. — The Oklahoma State men's basketball team was announced the five seed in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament during the Selection Show Sunday evening.

The Cowboys, who met at Gallagher-Iba Arena for a watch party, will take on the Oregon Ducks in the San Jose, Calif., Thursday.

The Ducks won the Pac-12 tournament championship, which gave them an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Oregon (26-8, 15-6) topped the UCLA Bruins, who earned a six seed in the NCAA Tournament, in the conference championship game.

Times for the games have yet to be set.
