STILLWATER, Okla. —
A Perkins man is accused of beating his girlfriend and threatening to kill her while pointing a gun and shooting her cellphone.
Brandon Munier, 26, was jailed on complaints of domestic assault and battery, possession of a firearm with an altered identification while commiting a felony, felony pointing a firearm, felony discharging a firearm, kidnapping, interfering with an emergency phone call, possession of controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Payne County Jail representative confirmed Wednesday.
Officers recovered spent bullet casings, two handguns, a cellphone with a bullet hole, chunks of hair and a bloody shoe at Munier’s residence after someone called police early morning and said he had texted a photo of the victim lying on the ground and surrounded by blood, police said. The caller said the victim had been texting her all week about being physically abused by her boyfriend, an affidavit stated.
According to the affidavit, the victim told police her boyfriend beat her with a shoe, told her she deserved to die, while pointing a gun at her, and told her he would kill her if she tried to leave. The affidavit also states the 911 caller said she received a text message from the suspect that said, “I am going to f------- kill this b----.”
The woman had a broken nose and broken eye socket and was treated at a nearby hospital, according to a police statement. Payne County Sheriff’s Office personnel and Iowa Tribe police also responded to the home.
Officers also reported finding several glass smoking devices used to ingest methamphetamine and marijuana.
