STILLWATER, Okla. —
A man driving a motorcycle was airlifted after an accident with a sports utiity vehicle at approximately 3:10 p.m. Monday.
The female driver of the SUV was driving east on State Highway 51 near the AutoZone parking lot when the motorcycle pulled out in front of her, Stillwater Fire Department Battalion Chief Terry Essary said.
Essary said officers on the scene didn't know how fast either vehicle was going or who was to blame. The man was flown with multiple injuries and a suspected broken leg, Essary said.
Onlookers watched as police and LifeNet cleaned a large amount of blood from the roadway after the helicopter left the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m.
