Two people were taken to the hospital following County collision

STILLWATER, Okla. — Two people were transported to hospitals after a 16-year-old lost control on a gravel road, highway patrol reports show.

Shortly after 4 a.m.  Wednesday an Agra teen lost control of a truck on gravel section of Ripley Road, 2.5 miles south of Highway 33 in Payne County.

The truck collided head on with a sport utility vehicle. The driver and passenger of the SUV were transported to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Driver Angela Twoguns, 42, of Perkins was taken by air ambulance after Cushing police freed her from the wreck using hydraulic tools, the report states.

The reporting trooper attributed the wreck to driving too fast on a gravel road.

Twoguns is in stable condition after being treated for leg injuries, the report shows.

Passenger Houston Twoguns, 15, of Perkins was driven in a personal vehicle to St. Francis where he was treated for leg and back injuries.

The teen driver of the truck who had no passengers refused treatment for minor injuries at the scene. Seatbelts were in use by all parties involved, the report shows.
