BREAKING: Stillwater police investigate infant death

STILLWATER, Okla. — Stillwater police responded to the 1600 block of West 9th Street Tuesday morning on a report of a child not breathing, Stillwater police officials said.

Medical personnel declared the 5-month-old boy dead

at the scene. 

Stillwater Police Capt. Randy Dickerson said the criminal investigation unit of the Stillwater Police Department and the state medical examiner's officer are looking into the cause of the death.

Dickerson said there were no obvious signs of trauma but the investigation is pending more information from the medical examiner's office.
