STILLWATER, Okla. — A former Oklahoma State University outfielder and relief pitcher pleaded guilty to drug charges Friday morning.
According to court records his bond was revoked and he will remain in jail until sentencing in January.
Gabriel Weidenaar, 21, was arrested in April after officers intercepted four pounds of marijuana addressed to the player.
Initially Weidenaar was charged with unlawful possession of controlled drug with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of controlled dangerous substance without tax stamp affixed and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The state downgraded the first charge and dismissed the third charge at the defendant's cost, court records show.
