UPDATE: Multiple sources say Gundy has turned down Tennessee job

STILLWATER, Okla. — Multiple sources are reporting that Oklahoma State University football coach Mike Gundy has rejected an offer from the University of Tennessee to coach the Vols. Gundy, the winningest coach in school history, will remain with the Cowboys.

Volunteers insider Jimmy Hyams, Oklahoma State sideline reporter and sports radio show host Robert Allen are among those reporting that the Vols will have to continue searching for a coach to lead their football team.

Gundy was rumored to be a candidate for the Tennessee job and Arkansas opening. The Razorbacks hired Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema Wednesday.
