2:55 p.m. UPDATE: Police release victims' names in Thursday morning crash

STILLWATER, Okla. — Police have released the names of the victims of a fatal crash that occured shortly after 5 a.m. Thursday.

Michell Marie Anastasia, 49, of Perkins,  Mayra Ramirez, 54, of Puerto Rico and Eliezer Colon Claussells, 35 of Puerto Rico  died from injuries from the head-on crash that occured near 68th Street on State Highway 177.

Juan Rosario, 32, and Anthony Vega, 41, both from Puerto Rico were admitted in serious condition to Stillwater Medical Center.

According to the report, Ramirez was driving Rosario, Vega and Claussells south in a van on StateHighway 177. Anastasia was driving a Jeep northbound in the southbound lane when the two vehicles collided. 

Troopers attributed the collision to the Jeep driving left of center. Conditions were dark and raining.

Ramirez and Anastasia died at the accident scene. Claussells died in hospital.

The report stated the condition of Anastasia is still pending investigation. It listed the condition of Ramirez as normal.

According to troopers at the scene, the four Puerto Rico residents were prison officials visiting a prison in Cushing.

Cimarron Correctional Facility is a prison in Cushing that has a contract with Puerto Rico Department of Corrections to house some of its inmates.
