UPDATE: Armed robbery suspect stole cash, car and cell phone, police said

STILLWATER, Okla. — Stillwater police recovered a silver Honda stolen by an armed robbery suspect Thursday afternoon in a parking lot in the 800 block of Hall of Avenue. The car was empty when it was located and police are still searching for the suspect.

Investigators are on the scene at Approved Cash in the 700 block of East McElroy Road where a suspect wielding a gun stole an undetermined amount of cash. He demanded a clerk's car and stole it, Stillwater police Sgt. Paul Priegel said.

He described the suspect as a black male in his 20s or 30s wearing a beanie and a puffy black jacket. He said the car is a 2004 silver Honda with a dent in the back passenger door. The car's tag number is 228HSJ. They are Oklahoma plates.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. Thursday.
