STILLWATER, Okla. —
Payne County commissioners purchased a used crane for bridge construction in District 1 at Monday’s meeting.
Commissioners received two bids.
Major Industry of Slaughter, La., submitted a bid to sell a 1993 Grove RT-35C crane with a 105-foot boom for $117,951.
Boxer Construction of Tulsa submitted a bid of $62,200 bid to sell a 1983 Grove RT630 crane.
District 1 Commissioner Zach Cavett examined the bids for a few minutes before recommending commissioners accept the bid from Boxer Construction.
Commissioners unanimously voted to accept the bid.
