STILLWATER, Okla. —
The frozen rain and wintry mix that made life miserable Friday afternoon should be gone by Saturday morning. The cold will remain.
If you’re going to represent Oklahoma State University at ESPN’s College GameDay Saturday morning at the Edmon Low Library lawn or the OSU-Baylor game tonight, here’s a little advice — dress warmly.
ESPN’s College GameDay will air live from 8-11 a.m. Fans can arrive as early as 6 a.m. The Student Union will open at 6:30 a.m. to provide fans with restrooms. Food and drinks will be available for purchase in the Union at 8 a.m.
The forecast calls for temperatures between 26 and 40 degrees and north winds of 10 to 15 mph between 6 and 11 a.m.
The OSU-Baylor game starts at 7 p.m. Temperatures will be in the 30s at game time and fall several degrees by midnight. The OSU football game is officially a sellout and all 60,218 seats in Boone Pickens Stadium should be filled as No. 10 OSU (9-1, 6-1 Big 12) tangles with No. 4 Baylor (9-0, 6-0 Big 12) for first place in the Big 12 Conference.
The game is televised on ABC (Suddenlink channel 5).
Payne County area residents braved the elements Friday afternoon and evening as a cold front moved through. The front caused the postponement of several high school football games, including the Elmore City-Pernell vs. Morrison game at Dennis Casey Field in Morrison. The game is scheduled to be played at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
