STILLWATER, Okla. — Mental health records for the two women who testified Oklahoma State University athlete Darrell Williams raped them will be viewed by the appellate court, a Payne County judge ordered Thursday.
Williams was convicted on two counts of rape by instrumentation and one count of sexual battery in July. He has appealed his conviction. The records were not known until after Williams' trial.
The defense believes the records could impeach the two victims' testimony. The records will now be available to the appellate court as it consider's Williams' case.
