STILLWATER, Okla. — Fire crews responded to a structure fire in the 700 block of 10th Avenue at approximately 11:45 a.m. after several people passing by the home told dispatchers smoke was pouring from the building.
Three engines, a command truck and an ambulance all responded. Crews had located the fire and got it under control shortly before 12 p.m. after making entry with hoses, axes and crowbars. All of the occupants made it out and had no injuries, officials said.
Stillwater Fire Chief Tom Bradley said crews would be working for another 30 to 40 minutes to make sure the fire had not extended and to prevent it from starting again. He said the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
