More than two years ago, Dr. Kenneth Hensley of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and OSU’s Dr. Mike Davis formed a research partnership to study how the sled dogs of Alaska’s Iditarod race more than 1,000 miles under extreme conditions.

Their collaboration, which took them to the far reaches of Alaska, has yielded a unique photo exhibit, now on display at OSU.

The show, “Sled Dog Racing: Exercise Physiology Research on the Last Frontier,” is free to the public through Sept. 28 in the Malinda Berry Fischer gallery at Oklahoma State University. Fischer, the former board chairman of the OSU Foundation and an OMRF director, hosted an opening reception on July 26.
