Jimmy Ray Cartwright

 Jimmy Ray Cartwright was born on Feb. 11, 1942 in Pawnee, Okla. to   Lawrence Ray Cartwright and Vidia B. Wilson Cartwright.  He passed from this life on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 in Tulsa, Okla. having reached the age of 70 years, 8 months, and 8 days.  He was affiliated with the First Baptist Church, and loved spending time with his grandkids.  He was an avid OSU Football fan.

Jimmy is survived by:  Son: Vince Cartwright, and his wife, Misty, Houston, Texas; daughter:  Cindy Pickering and her husband, Kelly, Pawnee, Okla.; six grandchildren: Caleb, Conner and Corbin Cartwright, Houston, Texas, Kelci, Megan and Wade Pickering, Pawnee, Okla. Sister:  Clois Benge and her husband, Richard, Bartlesville, Okla. Nephews: Kenneth Benge and his wife, Laura, Franklin, Tenn. Jeff Benge and his wife, Amy, Castle Rock, Colo., Plus six great nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives, and friends.

 Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Vidia B. Cartwight Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at the Poteet Funeral Chapel, Pawnee, Okla. with Rev. Kenneth Benge officiating.  Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Okla. under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Okla.
