— Naomi Aileen Mitchell, 74, of Mountain View, Ark., died on March 16, 2013. She was born on May 9, 1938, in West Helena, Ark., to Eugene Aubrey and Vera Mae Hood. She retired from Nation Standard after 20-plus years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Perry Oklahoma Nazarene Church as well as the Mountain View Methodist Church. She moved to Mountain View four years ago to live with her sister, Barbara Atkins, because of her declining health.

She is survived by her sons, David Mitchell of Willow, and Anthony Mitchell, of Cushing; six siblings, Charles Hood of Hugo, Barbara Atkins of Mountain View, Ark., Margaret Cooksey of Bethany, Annette Von Doren of Bethany, Mary Helen Young of Eufaula, and Sara Owen of Monroe, La.; three grandchildren, Jessie Inkman of Broken Arrow, Heath Mitchell of Willow,  and Hayley Mitchell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one great grandchild, Parker Dean Inkman, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Aubrey and Vera Mae Hood, and her husband, Jerry L. Mitchell.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater with Randy Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
