Brad Anthony Moore

Brad Anthony Moore, 60 of  Tulsa was born on June 17, 1952, to Harry Anthony and Catherine Scallon Moore in Blackwell. Brad passed away on Jan. 24, 2013.

Brad graduated from Cushing High School in 1970.  He was a four-year letterman in football and was honored by being voted team captain his senior year. A gifted athlete, Brad was selected to the All-State Football team. He greatly respected his coach and mentor, Faye O’Dell.

He furthered his education at the University of Oklahoma receiving his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Brad Moore and Deanie Long were united in marriage on July 2, 1971, in Cushing and were blessed with two sons.

Working with his father, Harry Moore, Brad was      involved in the oil and uranium industry throughout his life.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Mary Theresa Moore.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deanie of 41 years, sons, Matthew Anthony Moore of Houston, Texas, Scott Bradford Moore of Minneapolis, Minn., and granddaughter Brooke O’Kelley.

Survivors also include two sisters, Michelle Moore Hughes and husband Jack, and Virginia Kay Moore, all of Edmond; brother, Jon Patrick Moore of Oklahoma City, mother-in-law Velma Dean Tuttle Long;  sister-in-law, Diana Sue Young and husband Bill, nephew Brett Young, all of Cushing, nephew Mark Hughes of Oklahoma City, and niece Deidra O’Keefe and husband Dan and children Darrian, Dolan, and Dylan all of Tulsa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist University Parish, Stillwater.

Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Brain Cancer-Glioblastoma, St. John the Evangelist University Parish, Stillwater, OK  Choir Music or any charity of your choice.
