Frank Lee Hazelton 1958-2012
Frank Lee Hazelton, 54, of DePue, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Mueller Funeral Home in Peru, Ill., with Rev. Danira Parra officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hazelton was born May 28, 1958 in Stillwater, Okla., to Dickie Lee and Gloria Louise (Barr) Hazelton. He married Peggy Long on May 28, 2008 in Ottawa, Ill.
Mr. Hazelton was a retired truck driver. He was a great handyman, very mechanically inclined, who could fix anything. He loved to mow grass and was an avid Harley rider. He was a very funny guy with a heart of gold. He would do anything for anybody and never expect anything in return.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy of DePue; one daughter, Kelly Jeffries of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren; his brother, Ted (Desi) Hazelton of Stillwater, Okla., and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Melissa Stachowiak.
