Jonita Dotter Milligan, 84, of Stillwater passed peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 4 with her family at her side. Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building at 1911 N. 24th Street in Mesa, Ariz.
Jonita was born on Sept. 8, 1928, in Stillwater to Frank and Alta Dotter. She retired after 35 years working at Southwestern Bell as an operator. She also served as director of Project H.E.A.R.T. in Stillwater. She was president of the American Legion Auxiliary and active in The First Christian Church in Stillwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patsy and brother Kenneth. Jonita is survived by her daughter Teresa Wesley and her husband John, of Mesa, Ariz., three grandchildren: Derek Wesley, Darcy Wesley and Daniel Wesley.
