Myron “Merv” Lee Sheldon, of Stillwater, passed from this life on June 26, 2012 at the age of 54. Services were entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.
Merv was born in Lincoln County, Okla., on March 22, 1958 to Thomas Wade and Martha Elizabeth (Case) Sheldon. He was raised on family farms in the Meeker and Prague where he learned the value of hard work. He still had time for fun as well, playing cow chip tag with his brother. Merv worked at Oklahoma State University as a Computer Network Administrator for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed playing the drums.
Merv is survived by his son Christopher Wade Sheldon; grandson Christopher Wade Sheldon, Jr.; brother Lon Wade Sheldon; nephew Derek Wade Sheldon; and great niece Mckinzie Lynn Sheldon, as well as many friends.
