Irene LaVern “Bonnie” Shores, 76, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in Stillwater, Okla. Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Iowa Tribal Ba Kho Je Chena Building in Perkins, Okla. Interment will follow at the Iowa Tribal Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Bonnie was born on Jan. 29, 1936 in Perkins, Okla., to Edward and Phoebe (Kent) Small. She married John Shores, Jr.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, three sisters, and three brothers.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald and Gary Shores; two daughters, Glenda Shores and Judith Shores Carson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
