— Eithel W. Hope, 89, passed away May 31 in Stillwater.

Her funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater.

Larry Eslinger officiated. Interment followed at Mount Hope Cemetery in Ripley. Strode Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Eithel was born Sept. 18, 1924, to Richard Hilbert and Nancy Louise McJimsey in Ingalls. She married Glen R. Hope on Nov. 25, 1943, in Cushing.

She attended Ripley and Cushing public schools.

She graduated from Cushing High School in 1943.

Eithel was the bookkeeper for Hope Construction.

Eithel was also a member of the Ripley Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her mother Nancy McJimsey; her father Richard Hilbert; Sister Vera Cockrell; brother Richard Cash and daughter in-law Linda S. Hope.

She is survived by her husband Glen Hope of Ripley; one son, Donald Glen Hope of Ripley; one grandchild, Jeff Hope and wife Kathy of Ripley; and one great-grandson Justin Hope.
