LaVonne Florence Romshe passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012. She was 71.
Born Nov. 3, 1940 in rural Pawnee County, She was the daughter of Floyd Kelley and Clella (Harris) Kelley. She attended school in Ralston, Okla., and graduated from Ralston High School with the Class of 1959. She attended business college in Ponca City.
On March 11, 1966 she married Richard Aubrey Romshe in Reno, Nev. They moved to San Francisco area until 1999 when they both retired and moved to Stillwater, Okla.
LaVonne worked as a manager at The Emporium in San Mateo, Calif., and then as a volunteer for Stillwater Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; her mom, Clella Kelley of Fairfax; Three brothers, Dale Kelley and wife Jolene of Skedee, Lynn Kelley and wife Sue of Skedee, Floyd Kelley II and wife Lita of Ralston; Three sisters, Virginia Mitchell of Pawnee, Jonelle Kliesen and husband Joe of Perkins, Leann Baker and husband Jeff from Piedmont, S.D.; and lots of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her dad, an infant nephew, a niece, and an infant great niece.
A memorial will be set at a later date.
