Louis Arnold Nobles

Louis Arnold Nobles, 77, died on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, in Stillwater. His memorial service will be 2 p.m Tuesday  at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Frank Kinast officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Arnold was born on Nov. 2, 1935, in Newton, Kan. He graduated from Newton High School in the early 1950’s, and he later found a position as a parts manager for Chrysler Corner. He married Marlena Tarrell in Borger, Texas, on March 22, 2008. Arnold enjoyed woodworking and crafting. He was also an avid traveler and a connoisseur of fine wines. He loved to tour wineries when he vacationed with Marlena. He was involved in the LCEF.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, LaVonne and Twila.

He is survived by his wife, Marlena Nobles, of Stillwater; brother, Herbert Nobles, of Florida; and sister, Wilda M. Arnold, of Stillwater.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Oklahoma Chapter at 500 N. Broadway Ave. #250, Oklahoma City, OK 73102.
