David Dwayne Phillips

David Dwayne Phillips, a native of Guthrie, Okla., was born March 4, 1955.  He died on Jan. 20th after a long struggle with health issues.  

David graduated from Stillwater High School in 1973.  

He studied fashion in San Francisco and became a professional pattern maker in the Bay Area until his health prevented him from continuing to work.  

David loved Bedlington terriers.  

He owned and bred these beautiful dogs, producing a line of champions starting with his prized male Ajax.  

David was preceded in death by his older brother Bobby and his father R. B.  

He is survived by his life partner of more than 40 years, Patrick O'Leary of Berkeley, Calif.; his mother Norma Phillips; sisters Paula Stephenson, Linda Phillips and Patricia Henning; and a large extended family.

 A private memorial service will be announced to   family and friends.  

David had a kind heart and would ask that anyone wishing to honor him do so by making a donation to their favorite charity.
