William Fred Enmeier, 74, died on Nov. 22, 2012 in Stillwater, Okla. His memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at Life Church, 1917 N. Country Club Rd. Mr. G.T. Moody will officiate.. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born on June 29, 1938 to Albert Enmeier and Madonna Diedrich in Marshall, Okla.. He graduated from Marshall High School in1956 and married Kay Seefeldt on Aug. 30, 1959 in Marshall, Okla. They later divorced. Two sons were born from the union, Troy Eugene in 1960 and Brett Allen in 1965.
He graduated from OSU with a double major in Ag. Education and Animal Husbandry in 1961. He taught Vocational Agriculture at Ninnekah for two years and at Snyder for one year. He moved to Stillwater in June of 1965. He went to work for the Farm Bureau Insurance Agency where he retired after thirty years, then went into Home Building. He married Linda Abernathy on Oct. 31, 2009 in Stillwater, Okla.
He was a charter member of Stillwater Bass Masters and a charter member of Breakfast Kiwanis Club. He coached his son’s baseball teams and helped with scouts. He led the fund raising drive for the first Stillwater High School Activity bus. He loved RVing, boating and camping of most of Oklahoma’s lakes .He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and attending their many school activities. He was a true OSU fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Madonna Enmeier.
He is survived by his wife of the home Linda, two sons; Brett and wife Jennifer of Stillwater; Troy and wife Martie of Enid, five grandchildren; Brock, Bates, Grace, Stetson and Mackenzie; One brother; Arlon Enmeier, wife Florine; Three sisters; Sharon Long,; Debra Wolfe, husband, John; Janell Ernce, husband Wayne. William also had a special relationship with Linda’s children and grandchildren.
Honoray Pallbearers are Don Croka, Dick Powell, Bill Bernhardt, Jake Prawl, Norv Stunkel, Rick Green, Tom Stewart, Zed DeVaughan, Al Kleveno, Loyd Davenport, and Robert Johnson.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the loving staff at Grace Living Center.
