A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Park Retreat Center, 805 Kirk Street, Perkins, for Geoffrey Allen Youngblood. Pastor Denis Abston will reside over the service and all family and friends are invited to attend.

Geoffrey Allen Youngblood, born Jan. 11, 1983, to Sandra Buchanan Grimes and Orland Youngblood in Shawnee, went to be with his Lord on Jan. 11 following an auto accident.

Geoffrey was married to Alicia Beede and to this union was born two daughters, Bailey Nicolle Youngblood, born May 26, 2010, and Bella Jo Youngblood, born Nov. 8, 2012.

Geoffrey attended Perkins-Tryon School and at the time of his passing he was a foremen with Commercial Construction.

He was a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed welding, mechanics, driving heavy equipment and a lot of his time was spent on his 10 acres, where he planned to build a house and shop for his family.

For fun he enjoyed riding four-wheelers, hunting, fishing and playing in the mud. Many memories where made camping with family and friends. One of the things he enjoyed most was helping others.

Geoffrey is survived by his wife and children of their home in Tryon, mother, Sandy Grimes, and step-father, Junior Grimes, of Perkins, brothers, Eugene Whalin and wife Carmon of El Reno, Junior Youngblood and wife Tricia, of Ponca City, Bobby Grimes and companion Woody, of Fayetteville, Ga., sisters, Christy Somers and husband John, Wellston, Sue Camren and husband Odess, of Ripley, and many uncles aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. Geoffrey is also survived by his in-laws, Daniel and Cheryl Hoffman, of Yukon, James and Carol Beede of Georgia and brother-in-law John Hoffman of Yukon.

Family requests no flowers but there has been a Geoffrey Youngblood Memorial Fund set up at the Payne County Bank, 202 S. Main, Perkins, OK, 74059, for Baily and Bella if you would like to donate to their education.

The family has asked for casual dress and if you want to share a memory of Geoffrey please write them down to share.
