— Chester Charles Jr., 81, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013, in Stillwater.  There are no services planned at this time.

Chester was born on April 12, 1932, to Thomas Chester and Lauretta Catherine (Ehly) Charles in Great Bend, Kan. They later divorced, and Lauretta married Aloysius (Al) Bradley who Chester came to feel was his true father.  In 1954, Chester married Patricia Jo Bradley and they had five children.  They later divorced.  Chester was a veteran of the Korean War and then worked as a mail carrier until his retirement in 1988.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jake Bradley; son, Charles Lindsay Charles; and daughter, Monica Eileen Charles.

He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Cooke, and husband, Bill; sons, Lance Charles and Matthew Charles; and grandson, Charlie Charles.  He is also survived by his brothers, Ralph Charles and wife Carol, and Laverne Bradley and wife Sarah; sisters, Lael Craddock and husband Floyd, Sarah Officer and husband Lanny, and Beverly Bradley. Also surviving are numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at 2642 E. 21st St. #100, Tulsa, OK 74114.
