— Following a brief illness, longtime Stillwater resident Dorothy L. Willard, 93, passed away on Sept. 9, 2013, in Las Cruces, N.M.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1919, in Payne County to Charles M. and Helen E. (Sugg) Miller.

Dorothy will be remembered by many for her sweet smile and by her family as a loving selfless person who filled their lives with love and happy memories.

She was predeceased by her husband Walter B. Willard, brother Glen M. Miller, sisters Ruby K. (Miller) Pearson, and Nellie I. (Miller) Schroeder.

Survivors include her son George Willard of Las Cruces, N.M. and grandson Cody Smith of Stillwater, her daughter Eileen Willard and granddaughter Natalie Tang (Jeff) great granddaughters Alysiana Carter-Tang and Olivia Tang, all of Jupiter, Fla.

Also surviving, are dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dorothy retired from the Payne County ASCS office in 1974 with 24 years service.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater.

At her request there will be a private burial and no memorial services.
