Billy Dale Sadler
Memorial services for Billy Dale Sadler, 53, of Glencoe, are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Stillwater. Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Billy was born on Sept. 30, 1956, in Stillwater, Okla., to William and Jeanie (Voyer) Sadler. He graduated from Ripley High School and then joined the U.S. Navy. After his discharge, he worked various jobs before becoming employed at Mercury Marine, where he worked as a machinist for 25 years. While at Mercury, Billy was able to attend classes at Meridian Technology Center.
He married Tracey Bloom on Nov. 15, 1990, in Stillwater. He loved to fish. Billy passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010, in Stillwater.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.
He is survived by his wife, Tracey of the home; one son, Ryan Sadler of Glencoe, Okla.; his mother, Jeanie Hitchcock and stepfather Bob of Edmond, Okla.; two sisters, Debbie Fields and husband Dwight of Ripley, Okla., and Sandy Hall and husband David of Ripley, Okla.; four nieces and nephews, Chris Fields, Angela Fields-Lockwood and husband Dan, Davy Hall and Lindsey Hall and husband Shane; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
Memorial donations may be made in Billy’s name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123-1718.
